(ABSI) are pleased to announce the promotion of Zachary Spoor to President of both companies, effective Monday, June 2, 2025. The move reflects Spoor’s outstanding leadership, operational acumen and dedication to employee ownership, culture and long-term growth.
Spoor has served as Vice President of Operations and General Manager at NRI since June 2021 and at ABSI since August 2024. During his tenure, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening both businesses, driving performance and reinvigorating team morale.
Under his leadership, NRI experienced a 50% increase in revenue during his first year and has since sustained double-digit, year-over-year growth. His focus on standardizing systems, hiring strategically and fostering a culture of accountability and engagement has helped NRI achieve the highest gross revenue in its 50+ year history.

Faced with revenue decline and significant staff attrition, he successfully stabilized the business and returned the company to a breakeven performance. By improving operational efficiencies and reclaiming lost contracts, Spoor helped transform ABSI’s service delivery model and strengthen client trust. His recruitment and mentoring of high-performing teams have been instrumental in elevating overall service quality and positioning the company for renewed growth.

In this role, he mentored over 30 local startups, directly contributing to the generation of more than $2 million in revenue and the creation of 30+ new jobs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he demonstrated agility and leadership by hosting a series of business continuity webinars to help small businesses adapt their operations. Through ongoing professional development and relationship-building, Spoor completed 11 financial and operational courses and cultivated a mentor network to support over 20 active clients—laying the foundation for his future success in operational leadership.
